We are currently working on the demand of new training dvds. Some will be added from PDRCoach and some will be from various dent  companies like Dent Time, Dents No More, SOS Dent and a few others. What takes the longest is the post production. Making sure the videos are edited professionally and explained from a beginner standpoint. Our website only wants to deal with the most educational paintless dent removal material out there.

Our poll lately has requested more dvd tutorials rather than the downloadable versions. As time goes on, we will see this become opposite as the download speed becomes faster for everyone. As for now we will be producing both dvd and downloadable versions.

Episode 2 for download “taping down” will be out the end of the month. The dvd version will include the free tutorial from Youtube so you can view both on the same dvd. In the near future we will have a completed version of all the episodes on the dvd as well.

The PDR Line BoardIf you have been seeing lately the line board on youtube or other pdr companies websites, then you’ll start to notice even more. The line board light and non lighted board is getting much attention around the world. Although learning the lines is usually considered more complex to master. But once mastered, the line board is considered to help give the a pdr technician a big advantage for finishing.

The line board casts a reflection across the dent or ding. While looking at the dent with the lines across the dent, you’ll notice the curvature. This curature has two distinct characteristics; high (pinched, skinny lines), and low (fat lines). The high spots indicate the dent is going outward or have a crown of some sort. The low fat lines indicate where to apply pressure with a tool.

There are a lot of paintless dent repair technicians exploring different methods, techniques and tools to help them achieve better and more consistent results. We’re not saying the line board is the best at all. But our point is, try to have an open mind and become a more well ronded pdr tech. We believe the more you want to learn, the more you grow.
